The Alexander MqQueen Collection, Dubbed ” Mc Q” hit Target yesterday. They didn’t make too much of a big deal about it at any of the actual retail locations. There’s not much attention grabbing signage or outstanding displays.  You kinda have to know it’s there. I  would think after doing cool elaborate promotion during New York fashion week that they would do some kind of in-store promotion or event.  I guess not?

Well the spring 2009 deigns in available at target stores nation wide. With the economy the way it is this is a great outlet for the financially  challenged fashionista.  The pieces range from clubby chic to business casual and are of above average quality and cool modern designs and prints.  The prices range from 19.99 tanks and t-shirts, to the 139.99 studded Lambskin Leather vest.

The ” Mc Q” collection fit is based on junior sizing. Tops are XS, S, M, L and XL. Bottoms are in odd numbers from size 1 through 13.
The highlights of the collection are:

The zigzag print tee ($19.99) comes in the distinctive zigzag print in fuschia and black with a tiger’s face on the bottom front right.
The Liela print tee ($22.99) features an image of the line’s muse, Liela Moss of the band The Duke Spirit.

The Tattoo Print Strapless Dress ($79.99)
The zigzag print scarf is made of 100% silk which is an excellent buy at $29.99.
Cropped tuxedo blazer ($49.99) and TRS Pants ($39.99).
