Here is a sneak peek at a creative collaboration of designer Nicholas Kirkwood and the estate of famed street Pop artist Keith Haring.  Haring’s minimalistic graffiti styled art work was all over NYC throughout the 80′s.  His giant street murals caught the attention of visitors from all over the world and has become iconic in the pop culture art, music and fashion.

This is some of what designer Nicholas Kirkwood had to say about his inspiration and ideas for the Keith Haring inspired designs.

“I watched this documentary called The Universe of Keith Haring, and though I know his style, I hadn’t seen the breadth of his work. I couldn’t stop thinking about how amazing and prolific he was and how great it would be to incorporate his graphics into my designs,” Kirkwood explained. “So I ended up approaching the Keith Haring Foundation. I had to really sell them the product, but I think they’re pretty happy with the end result.

In celebration of LA Fashion’s Night Out, Sunset Plaza will be hosting the “Sunset Plaza Passport Event.”   Shoppers can visit each retailer & collect a gold star. Once they have collected all the gold stars from each participating shop , drop off  the passport at the last stop to become eligible to enter & win.

Rodeo Drive will erect the first-ever Ferris Wheel on the street, with shoppers receiving complimentary rides with proof of purchases made that evening.
